River Homeschool provides live online classes for children, including the River Foundation and River Faith & Roots programs. In this policy, "we" means River Homeschool.

02What we collect

• Enrolment requests: the guardian's name, phone number or email, the student's name and age, the chosen program, and your consent.
• Portal accounts: name, email, role (student, guardian, teacher or admin), and learning records such as class reports and progress notes.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp or by email. The contact form on this website does not store anything; it only opens WhatsApp or your email app.
• Basic technical data such as request logs, used to keep the website secure and working.

03How we use it

• To reply to your questions and process enrolment.
• To plan and run classes, and to send daily and monthly progress reports to guardians.
• To manage portal access and keep accounts secure.
• We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

04Children's information

• Student information is provided by a parent or guardian, who must give consent when enrolling. We collect only what is needed to teach the child and report progress to the family.
• Please do not share medical or other sensitive details through the website or the chat assistant.

05Who can see it

• Inside River Homeschool: only the staff and teachers who need it. Guardians see their own child's reports.
• Service providers that host the website and database (for example Vercel and Neon) process data on our behalf.
• We share information if the law requires it, or to protect a child's safety.

06How long we keep it

We keep information while the student is enrolled and for as long as needed for records afterwards. Enquiries that do not lead to enrolment are deleted when no longer needed. You can ask us to delete information at any time.

07Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete your family's information, or withdraw consent. Write to us and we will respond as soon as we can.

08Security

Portal accounts use passwords and role-based access, and the website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private.

09Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
